`ffap-rfc-space.el`

ffap-rfc-space.el sets up Emacs ffap to recognise an RFC with a space before the number, like

RFC 1234

where normally only "RFC1234", "RFC-1234" or "RFC#1234" work.

ffap-rfc-space.el is free software (free as in freedom), published under the terms of the GNU General Public License (v3 or up).
