Gtk2-Ex-TickerView

Gtk2::Ex::TickerView is a horizontal scrolling stock ticker or newsbar widget for Gtk2-Perl. Read more in the online man page (19k, html).

Gtk2::Ex::TickerView is free software (free as in freedom), published under the terms of the GNU General Public License (v3 or higher).

Download version 16 as just the .pm file, full source here or from CPAN, or a Debian package here or from my repo.

The sig files are Gnu PG ascii armoured signatures generated from my key, and there's a SIGNATURE file inside the .tar.gz for cpansign. Older sources can be found at backpan.

The prerequisites are Gtk2-Perl and my CellLayout-Base and ObjectBits. There's actually nothing Perl-specific about the concept, so there's a decent chance of a plain C implementation at some stage, but trying out various pixmap/redraw/change strategies all in C is too much like hard work.
